Hello and welcome to Class 5CS. We are really looking forward to teaching your child this academic year. Our aim is to ensure that learning is engaging and inspiring, we strive to make excellent progress and reach high standards for every individual. Our classroom is a safe environment where we support one another and grow from making mistakes.
In 5CS, we work as a team and give one hundred percent effort in everything we do. We are looking forward to watching 5CS flourish as individuals and are looking forward to helping the children achieve great things.

Our learning journey
From Living Things and their habitats, Animals including Humans, Properties and Changes of Materials and Earth and Space, this year will be packed full of exciting learning opportunities for your children. Please see our curriculum map for more information about your child’s learning journey. Please also find knowledge organisers for each unit of work your child is taught this half term. They will help you to assist your child at home and provide them with the key knowledge and skills for year 5.
