COVID-19
We understand that this is a very stressful time as a parent/ carer. Below is a number of links to inform you on the latest guidance. Don’t forget that Breakfast Club resumes at the earlier time of 8am from Tuesday 7th September. School reopens on that day at 8.55 am (gates open at 8.45). For Nursery and Reception, their doors will open at 8.55 for a 9 am start.

Support for parents

We appreciate that this is a worrying time for many families. We hope that the measures we are putting in place will offer some reassurance that we are doing all we can to keep our pupils safe and well. We receive daily updates from the Local Authority and Public Health England and are reviewing the situation on a daily basis.
Specialist Support Provision
Those children with safeguarding and welfare needs, including those children on child in need plans, on child protection plans, ‘looked after’ children, young carers and those with Education Health and Care plans are also able to attend school if they wish. This is an offer to parents and there is no requirement for parents / carers to send their children to school if they do not wish to. The Local Offer team is putting together a newsletter in the Local Offer at least weekly, this will contain useful information for families. Please visit Local Offer Newsletter

Local Services Support
In the event that you are at home self-isolating with your children please be aware of the following support available. We are working closely with local foodbanks and churches to ensure families can receive food parcels where needed.
Handwashing advice
Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, with soap and water. It is recommended that in addition to handwashing before eating, and after coughing and sneezing, everyone should also wash hands after using toilets and travelling on public transport. Watch the video below for more information
